Sponsorship Opportunities with Not Your Average FolkAre you looking to reach fans that are lively, loyal, and unafraid to try to new things. Not Your Average Folk readers and fans are just what you need. There are several ways to reach Not Your Average Folk fans: Printer Concert Calendar Sponsorship, Email Sponsorship, Compilation CD Sponsorship, Website Banner Ads, and Event Sponsorship. Printed Concert Calendar Sponsorships:NotYourAverageFolk.com has partnered with over 50 Popular artists in Boston and it's surrounding towns to particpate in our Printed Calendar distributed to nearly 5000, people in person. The artists distribute the calendars to their fans at their shows in exchange for free cross promotion. These sponsorships cover the costs associated with designing, promoting, printing, and distributing these calendars. There are three spots on the calendar to place your sponsored ad:
In order to participate you must submit your ad and payment 2 weeks prior to the month you wish your ad to appear. Spots fill quickly and may not be available, so please plan accordingly.
To participate, go to the Contact Page. Use the subject "Calendar Sponsor". Email Sponsorships:NotYourAverageFolk.com sends out weekly emails to fans and music industry professionals. We limit the ads to one per email and you have the potential to reach thousands of focused fans in the Boston and New England area. An email ad runs for two weeks at a cost of $150 per week. To participate, go to the Contact Page. Use the subject "Email Sponsor". Compilation CD Sponsorships:NotYourAverageFolk.com produces a Compilation CD twice a year. The CD contains the top talent that NYAF wishes to showcase to Industry and Fans. This is a free promotional opportunity for the artists. As a sponsor you will help cover the cost of producing the CD and promotion for the Compilation. The CD is handed out and in some cases sold to fans at local area shows and online. This is a great way to brand your company and to reach loyal fans who are eager to learn about your products. The ads are generally only a logo and a single line of text. Your Sponsorship will appear on a minimum of 1000 CDs. There are five spots on the CD to place your Sponsored Logo:
In order to particpate you must submit your graphic and payment one month prior to production. Next deadline is May 15th. To participate, go to the Contact Page. Use the subject "Compilation CD Sponsor". Website Banner Ads:NotYourAverageFolk.com tries not to place banner ads on the site. Banner ads only appear when they are requested and therefore are quite exclusive on the site. A banner ad is on the site for 1 month and conforms to the following rates:
To participate, go to the Contact Page. Use the subject "Web Sponsor". Event Sponsorships:NotYourAverageFolk.com produces Showcases and Industry Mixer Events periodically thoughout the year. This is a great opportunity to have your ad placed on all marketing material for the event - website banner, email campaign, printed flyers, partner website banner ads. You can also bring your own merchandise in to give away to attendees and you will be mentioned between all acts and in any radio spots that the site purchases to promote the event. The main sponsor banner will hang prominently one stage. Sponsors are limited to one Main Sponsor and two smaller sponsors:

Other vendors are also encourage to contact us to offer their products to our fans for free. This free promotion helps us generate buzz around our site and events and will give you great exposure to our fans. Custom Graphic creation is available for $60 an hr, with a minimum of 1 hour.
