Cantab Lounge

In its role as a neighborhood bar & grille and meeting place for multi-ethnic, multi-generation Central Square, the Cantab Lounge provides stages for many kinds of music and the spoken word.

• Mondays Geoff Bartley hosts a Singer-Songwriter Open Mike.
  

• Tuesdays we have the best Bluegrass scene for miles around.
  

• Wednesdays there's Candy's Blues, Jazz & Rock Jam Upstairs and a Poetry Slam downstairs in the Underground.
  

• Thursdays the Chicken Slacks bring classic soul and funk to the Upstairs stage and there's Improv Comedy in the Underground.
  

• Fridays and Saturdays it's The Fatback Band with Diane Blue, Shirley Lewis and other special guests
  

• Sundays it's another Blues, Jazz & Rock Jam with Candy.
