The Narrows Center for the Arts is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The 280-seat facility hosts high-quality, national and local performing and visual artists, musicians, writers and performers.
Located in Fall River, Massachusetts' waterfront district, The Narrows Center for the Arts is on the top floor of an attractive old mill building with spectacular views of Fall River's pier, the Braga Bridge and Battleship Cove. The Center's wonderfully sunlit space provides superb acoustics, creating the perfect ambiance for events and programs. The space is divided into 4 areas: The Narrows Gallery, the Performance Area, the Narrows Cafe and the Resident Artist Studios.
MISSION
To promote and develop an appreciation of the visual arts and the performing arts. To create and develop an artistic and cultural center for the benefit of the public at large and the citizens of Fall River, Massachusetts.
FOOD & DRINK
Attendees are welcome to bring their own food, drink and alcohol to all events in bags and coolers. We sell fresh brewed Coastal Roasters coffee at all of our events along with organic teas, soda, bottled water and pre-packaged snacks. On most nights we also serve freshly baked desserts.
BEHAVIOR
The Narrows provides a fun, relaxed and welcoming environment for performer and audience alike where musicians can connect to those who appreciate their work. Rowdies or those who detract from the ability of those around them to enjoy the show will be asked to leave.
