Not Your Average Folk brings you one place to get all your folk and acoustic music events. Have you ever tried to decide what shows to go see and not known where to begin? You start by looking at your favorite venue and are underwhelmed. You then check your favorite artists schedule and realize they aren't playing. What if you could go to one site that you trust to see all the good shows that are happening in the area? I don't mean some big site that only shows national acts that you have to pay a fortune to see, I mean true local (or visiting) talent! 

 Not Your Average Folk.com is built and run by volunteers who believe in the music we bring to you. We are passionate about getting the word out about local music and we love what we do. We love it so much that we bring it all to you for free.
