Well she is not exactly for sale, but she is completely free. Mieka Pauley, a local boston singer/songwriter hero is giving her self away. With the help of Amazon.com you can get her entire new album for free. I took the liberty to partake in this offer and was extremely satisfied with my purchase. This is an album I would have spent $20 on.

This is an album filled with varying styles while retaining her signature vocals. The album starts off with simple guitars and the consistent tapping of drum sticks. Her voice slowly paints a silhoutte across your mind and then swiftly sends you into her world of well crafted and far from cookie cutter music. There is a slight roughness and sweetness in her tone that intrigues the senses.

The rock sensibilities overlay her acoustic singer/songwriter roots. I have to say that I originally expected the standard, mostly acoustic, folky type of song, but was certainly surprised. The album is primarily a rock album. Mieka is certainly not your average folk.
