Not Your Average Folk is a grassroots effort that relies on the strength and abilities of many key individuals. These people are the lifeblood of the site. They are the ones out at the shows, writing articles, and support the growing folk and acoustic music community in Boston.

Dianna C. Calareso, Events Manager - Dianna is our new Events Manager and Assistant Editor. Dianna is responsible for identifying events and talent, coordinating articles, and working with the editor to keep the site full of fresh content and copious amounts of music. He experience as an editor and love for music make her an invaluable asset to us at NYAF.

Kevin Sawyer, Contributor- Kevin has written and edited pieces for various music publications including Performer Magazine. He is also a musician and his music can be heard at - www.darkmartini.com and www.myspace.com/mikemacdonaldmusic

Erica Garvin, Staff Writer - Erica is a staff writer for Not Your Average Folk. Her background lies in formal writing, beginning as an English Major in College. She also has a significant music background as a former vocalist in the Boston Area.
