Now I want to flash back to Saturday night @ Toad. We arrived around 7:10 to see Jesse Ciarmataro, otherwise known as Qwill, taking the stage. If you never been to Toad, it is small and cozy, but attracts a great crowd. The audience was full of diverse people all there to hear music, not to drink or eat, but for music. Sponsor ads:
The set started off with a few acoustic songs, which were heartfelt and showed off his amazing vocals. It is a bit like Jack Johnson jamming with the singer of Coldplay. He then had the band join in, which consisted of bass, strings, and brushes on a small drum kit. At one point the drummer was using the ends of old broomsticks that generally only get sold around halloween. The band was incredible and I was happy to have made the trek. At the end of the show I spent some time talking with the fans and happened upon Jesse Dee, another favorite of mine. I was glad to see the musicians out supporting eachother. If you haven't had a chance to hear him you will soon enough. Go listen to samples of Qwill and be amazed! You can also check our Jesse Dee! Be sure to see them both April 16th @ http://www.rockafellasofsalem.com/
